Firefighters deal with flooding in Catterick Village house

Firefighters were called to deal with flooding in a house in Catterick Village last night.

A crew from Bedale Fire Station attended at around 10pm after the occupant called for help.

Flooding from a burst pipe in the bathroom was causing water to come through the ceiling into the kitchen.

The crew isolated the electrics to the property and gave advice to the occupant after the water stopped.
