Firefighters rescued a man who was stuck down a river embankment last night.
A crew from Richmond were called to help paramedics at the incident in Northallerton Road, Croft-on-Tees, at 9.35pm.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said firefighters used working at height equipment to rescue the man.
The man was taken to hospital as a precaution but was not thought to be seriously injured.
