Firefighters rescued a a kitten from the engine bay of a vehicle yesterday.
The incident happened at about 1.10pm in Scotton Road, Catterick Garrison.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “A crew from Richmond responded to reports of a kitten stuck in the engine bay of a vehicle.
“Crews used cat whispering techniques to rescue the cat.”
