A stray firework is believed to have caused a garage fire this morning.
Firefighters from Colburn and Richmond were called to the incident in Catterick Garrison at 2.22am.
The crews used a hose reel jet, two breathing apparatus and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “The cause was believed to have been a stray firework.”
