A new tradition has been born in Bainbridge with a new lighting up ceremony.
The event brough residents onto the village green to see decorations being switched on.
There was mulled wine, mince pies, carols and Christmas songs led by Rev Dave.
Father Christmas also attended, along with a pair of donkeys.
