
The flooding caused by heavy rain on Tuesday has subsided this morning.
Several motorists had to be rescued after driving into water in Wensleydale.
The road between Wensley and Hawes was blocked due to deep flood water.
Firefighters at Hawes were called out at 3.15pm to rescue a man stuck in flooding near the town.

The crew used water rescue equipment to assist the driver to safety.
More rescues were carried out by other motorists in vehicles able to cope with the water.
The flooding had subsided by Wednesday morning, meaning school buses and service bus services were able to run.
