The first meeting of Antheia Flower Club will be held in Richmond this week.
The club will be a mix of flowers and fun for beginners and the more experienced flower arranging.
Organisers say Antheia is a club which will respond to members demands and make it what they want.
This story continues after the adverts:
The club will be affiliated to National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies (NAFAS).
Ann Harding, NAFAS first vice chairman of the North East area, who will be Chairman from November, will attend to support the launch.
The aim of this evening is not only to give you a taste of a contemporary flower demonstration from two of local NAFAS demonstrators but also to show you the benefits of joining the club and being in at the start to influence the structure and format.
NAFAS Demonstrators Lucy Hutton-Smith and Nicola Davies will demonstrate, in their own unique style a fresh take on changing seasons.
A caretaker committee will be appointed at this meeting.
The meeting in Richmond Town Hall will be held on Wednesday, October 4 from 7.30pm to 9.30pm (lift access available).
Tickets are £7.50.
