Folk duo Bob Fox and Stu Luckley will bring their reunion tour to Swaledale next weekend.
The musicians, who first performed together in the late 1970s, will appear at Reeth Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 5.
The concert will feature songs and tunes from their first two albums, performed on guitars, acoustic bass, dulcimer and bouzouki.
Fox and Luckley made their name on the folk circuit after joining forces in the 1970s, with their reputation cemented by the release of their debut album, Nowt So Good’ll Pass, in 1978.
The record went on to win Melody Maker’s Folk Album of the Year award.
The pair later reunited to mark the 30th anniversary of the album, performing at selected folk venues and arts centres before concluding the tour at The Sage in Gateshead.
Another reunion came in 2024 when they were invited to perform several songs at the Davy Lamp Folk Club’s 50th anniversary concert.
Having enjoyed playing together again, the musicians agreed to stage a special reunion concert at the annual Morpeth Gathering in April last year.
Tickets for that performance sold out so quickly that Fox and Luckley decided to play a small number of selected reunion concerts during 2026, including the forthcoming Swaledale date.
The Reeth concert will begin at 8pm, with doors opening at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £20 in advance or £22 on the door, with admission for under-16s half price.
