
Acoustic roots star Phil Beer will perform a charity concert in aid of Ukraine next weekend.
For their first charity event of 2022, Carperby Concerts will be playing host to the acclaimed musician at Carperby Village Institute on Saturday, March 26.
All profits will be go to the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal.
Organiser Steve Sheldon said: “Phil Beer is one of the most popular ambassadors for acoustic roots music.
“One half of the award winning Show of Hands, he’s been a professional musician since his late teens.
“His CV includes membership of The Albion Band, session work with The Rolling Stones and a spell as musical director with Mike Oldfield of Tubular Bells fame.”
Carperby is the final date of his nationwide tour and his only gig in North Yorkshire.
Tickets are £15 in advance and £17 on the door.
