Folk trio The Wilderness Yet will appear at Reeth Memorial Hall in Swaledale next month.
The group will perform on Friday, December 1, and celebrate the beginning of the Christmas season with their Turn the Year Round tour, featuring winter songs, folk carols, wassails and tunes old and new.
Each established performers in their own right, The Wilderness Yet are Rosie Hodgson (vocals), Rowan Piggott (fiddle), and Philippe Barnes (guitar and flute) who weave an eclectic tapestry of traditional and original songs and tunes; from a cappella three-part harmonies to luscious instrumental arrangements.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
Tickets are £16 in advance (£18 on the door) under 16s half price and proceeds are for the Memorial Hall; on sale at Reeth Post Office or contact Glen Steward 01748-884989, email memorialhall@swaledale.co.uk
