Forge at Middleton Lodge Estate has retained both its Michelin Star and Michelin Green Star in the 2026 MICHELIN Guide for Great Britain & Ireland.

The awards were confirmed on Monday, February 9, at the Michelin Guide Ceremony held at the Convention Centre Dublin.

Head Chef Jake Jones, who was named Michelin Young Chef of the Year in 2024, works with the estate’s gardening team to develop dishes inspired by the land and by how the historic estate would once have sustained itself.

Speaking after the announcement, Jake Jones said retaining both accolades “means a great deal” to the team.

He added that guests are central to everything Forge does, driving the creativity and motivation behind each new menu, and praised the contribution of staff across the estate, from gardeners to front-of-house.

Estate owner and managing director James Allison also welcomed the recognition, highlighting the dedication of the team and the importance of delivering experiences that guests want to return to time and again.

He thanked both staff and diners for their continued support.

Forge is open Thursday to Sunday for evening service, offering six and ten-course tasting menus priced at £80 and £125 respectively.
