
A four-year-old is to have her long locks of hair cut off to help cancer sufferers.
Katie Morpeth’s hair will go to the Little Princess Cancer Trust which will us it to make wigs for children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.
Katie, from Bedale, said: “I want to give others my hair because they don’t have any.”

Older sister Lucy added: “This was all her decision when she saw an advert on the TV.
“Katie will have her hair cut at the end of February.
“We’re hoping raise money for this wonderful cause, and for this amazing little girl.
“All money raised will be going to the Little Princess Cancer Trust too.”
Lucy, who works in Penleys in Leyburn, is helping her sister by baking some cakes to raise for the charity which will be on sale in the cafe.
