Free energy advice event to take place at The Station

Richmondshire residents are invited to hear how they can be savvy with their energy this winter.

Matt Fulford, founder of Inspired Efficiency, is senior advisor on energy, carbon and sustainability issues and is donating his time to lead a discussion offering tips and advice on energy efficiency and the clean energy issues that matter to locals.

The event takes place at The Station, in Richmond, at 6pm today and is free for all.

As part of the event, Matt will also take questions from local young people about clean energy, the climate crisis and the need for local action.

Matt will spend the day performing energy audits for three schools in the town to help identify the best ways they can reduce their dependence on fossil fuels.

The event is being supported by a £300 grant from Richmond county councillor Stuart Parsons’ locality budget and £100 from the Richmondshire Climate Action Partnership.
