The Wensleydale Creamery is offering free entry to its visitor centre until February 9
The Yorkshire Wensleydale Cheese Experience allows cheese lovers to follow the journey of the Wensleydale Creamery and Yorkshire Wensleydale cheese from its origins in the 1100s, to cheese-making today.
From the viewing gallery, visitors can watch the signature cheese being hand-crafted by a team of skilled cheesemakers.
There are also cookery, cheese and butter making demonstrations, as well as cheese pairing sessions, in the recently renovated demonstration room.
David Hartley, MD at Wensleydale Creamery said: “We are delighted to invite Wensleydale Creamery fans to visit our popular Visitor Centre for free this January.
“We have recently developed our brand-new Demonstration Room as part of our visitor experience, and continue to invest, to cement the Creamery’s position as the flagship cheese and food destination in the country.”
As part of the promotion, Calvert’s Restaurant is also offering a £9.95 two-course special (including main course and dessert) from Monday to Saturday until February 8.
