A free family fun day will take place at Bramble Woodsin Catterick Garrison this Saturday.
The event will feature Rusticus, a provider of fresh-air adventures, combining an interactive performance with a walk in the outdoors.
Amy Manuel, Bramble Woods site manager, said: “This year’s performance is all about a sense of space, and why Bramble Woods is so important to all of us. Step back in time with us to meet characters from the past.
“We are thrilled that this year we will also be joined by Catterick Historical Archives, who will display local artefacts and fossils found right here in Catterick!
“There is also the chance to take part in our first archaeological dig.
“With the help from archaeologist Dan, who will be leading a Bramble Woods excavation on site on the day! We are excited to see what we can find.”
The entire event is free, and there are three performances throughout the day.
Please book your tickets by emailing catherine.clapham@e50k.org.uk, or through our Facebook page ‘e50K.
Bramble Woods address is Smuts Road, DL9 3BJ.
