Free Indiana Jones film tickets in return for food donations

The Station Cinema.

Film-lovers can watch Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade for free in exchange for food donations at The Station Cinema this June.

In exchange for three tins or cans of food, the public can receive one cinema ticket to watch the adventure classic, Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade, on Saturday, June 8 or Sunday, June 9 at 5pm.

Starring Harrison Ford, the 1981 hit follows archaeologist Indiana Jones, who learns that his father has disappeared while looking for the Holy Grail, he embarks on a journey to find his father and save the Holy Grail from his Nazi enemies.

All donations will be given to the StoreHouse foodbank in Richmond.

Cinema general manager Dan Westgarth said: “We’ve had great success with our past two cans for Claus Christmas showings and we’re hoping to do the same this June with Indi-can-a Jones.

“We are so thrilled to hear that the donations received by the Store House Foodbank from the Cinema are making a significant difference in supporting those in need within our community.

“We all know British weather can be unpredictable, especially at summer time, so why not enjoy some classic Indiana Jones action, The Last Crusade being arguably the best, and help make someone’s summer a little easier.”

Tickets are available now and can be collected at the box office by exchanging three canned or tinned items of food to the team at the cinema box office, which is open from 11am daily.

Donations will be accepted during box office opening hours across the week, however if you would like to make a donation, the team at the Station Cinema will be happy to receive it.
