Free weekend at Dales outdoor centre available to children’s group

A Wensleydale outdoor centre is offering a free weekend to a group which would not normally be able to afford it.

The charity submits applications to charitable trusts to try and raise money to help groups that would otherwise find it difficult or impossible to visit.

Sally Kingston, from Low Mill in Askrigg, said: “Once again we are in a position to be able to offer a free weekend to a group who has not had the opportunity to come to Low Mill before due to financial constraints.

This story continues after the adverts:

“The charitable donations we have received are to fund vulnerable groups, youth groups, church groups and groups with special needs.”

The booking is for a group of 12 people maximum and is to be taken on Friday, November 23 to Sunday, November 25 this year.

The weekend will be free of charge and include full board, accommodation and activities.

All the group will need to do is provide their transport to and from our centre.

If you are associated with such a group, or know someone who is, get in touch by emailing Low Mill at  info@lowmill.com

Submit your request by giving details of your group/organisation, stating the number of people and why you think your group would benefit from the weekend.

The group will then be selected at the end of August.
