The Station Cinema in Richmond will play host to the 31st annual UK French Film Festival this November.

The festival begins on Friday, November 3 and runs for two weeks until Thursday, November 16.

The event will screen a variety of genres and continues the aim of the Station Cinema to showcase talent and movies from across the globe and not just the Hollywood blockbusters.

Cinema bosses say the film selections have been carefully curated and include Driving Madeleine which stars Line Ranuad and Alice Isaaz, The Taste Of Things, Bonnard Pierre, and Marthe and Goliath.

In a coup for the cinema, the venue will screen the Cannes 2023 Film Festival Palme D’Or winning drama, Anatomy of a Fall, before its official release date later in the year.

General manager Dan Westgarth said: “It’s an incredible honour to once again play host to a fantastic set of titles of new and compelling films from French Cinema. Always a hugely popular event every year, we look forward to welcoming audiences old and new to The Station this November.

“Five titles will screen across the fortnight ticket sales have already begun. More details can be found via the official flyer available at the cinema box office, or by visiting the cinema website and clicking on French Film Festival.”
