A group of 12 friends are raising money for the Robert Ogden Cancer Unit in Northallerton with a charity calendar.
The inspiration was local woman Nicola Bishop, who is in her own battle with breast cancer.
Nicola said: “I am determined to beat cancer.
“We all know a family member who has been diagnosed with cancer and the Robert Ogden Cancer Unit has been a great support to us.”
A Go Fund Me page has already raised more than£1,700.

The fundraising continues on December 9 at the Hildyard Arms in Colburn Village, where you can buy a calendar or raffle ticket.
Organisers say a large number of prizes that have been donated by the community to support the event.
