Organisers of a charity fundraising event in Richmond have thanked supporters after raising more than £750 for a local cause.
The “Home Before Dark” event, held on Saturday, saw members of the community come together to support Heart of Richmond, which is installing life-saving defibrilarttors across the town.
In total, £752 was raised on the night, with organisers praising the generosity of those who attended and donated.
A spokesperson said: “What can we say but a huge thank you to every single one of you who supported and donated. We raised a whopping £752 all thanks to you.”
Special thanks were given to DJ Keith Smith for providing the music throughout the evening, and to Comrades Richmond for hosting the event.
Volunteers Ali L and Cheryl Mellon-Kelly were also recognised for helping on the door and welcoming guests.
Organisers also thanked A&E Training LTD for their behind-the-scenes support.
