Fire crews were called to a garage fire at a residential property in Dalton-on-Tees on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident was reported at 5.17pm, prompting the mobilisation of crews from Northallerton and Darlington.
On arrival, firefighters found a garage well alight.
Crews wore six breathing apparatus and used three hose reel jets to bring the fire under control. A thermal imaging camera was also deployed to check for hotspots and ensure the fire was fully extinguished.
The fire was successfully dealt with and crews carried out further checks to make the area safe before leaving the scene. No injuries were reported.
