A garden fire spread to the roof of a property in Colburn yesterday.
The incident in Colburtn Lane was reported at about 7.30pm.
Colburn and Richmond fire crews responded to a report of a garden fire that was affecting the residential property.
Crews confirmed a small bonfire had been lit in the garden and left unattended.
The fire spread to the roof structure of the property.
Firefighters removed roof tiles and extinguished the fire using two hose reels and breathing apparatus.
