Great results for Richmond Triathlon Club members

Race season is now in full swing with some great results for members of Richmond Triathlon Club.

The club had members racing at both Stockton Duathlon Festival and the Tyne Tri Club Aquathlon in Killingworth at the weekend.

At Stockton in the early novice race:

Will Smith age 15, (sponsored by Triology) came 1st closely followed by Sam Kettlewell (age 15) in 3rd, Dylan Soley (age 14) in 4th and Joshua York-Smith (age 15) in a very respectable 7th place.

In the Draft Legal World Championship Qualifying Sprint Distance Race which involved a 5k Run, 20k Bike and finishing with a 2.5k run; Harry Robson (age 17) finished 2nd with Jake Stephenson (age 16) finishing 3rd.

This means they have now qualified to travel to Penticton in Canada to represent GBR.

Over at the Tyne Tri Aquathlon the results came in as follows;

Tri Star 1 –

Kayden Wright (age 9) finished 13th

Dominic Wilford (age 11) finished 6th

Lucas Holmes (age 12) finished 9th

Tristar 3 –

Mackenzie Monteith (age 13) finished 5th

Youth –

Lewis Moore (14) finished 1st
Dylan Wright (16) finished 2nd
