Hawes parish councillors will discuss recent problems caused by road closures in the town at the monthly meeting on Monday.
Road closures were put in place last month by contractors for Yorkshire Water while workers tackled a leak.
However, motorists from the west only learnt of the closure when they drove into the market place.
This story continues after the adverts:
This meant the town was clogged with vehicles, including large lorries, trying to turn around while the weekly market was taking place.
Also on the agenda will be cutbacks to the Yorkshire Ambulance Service patient transport services.
Other topics include the plans for a pavilion on the community field and a talk by the developers wanting to convert Hawes Methodist Chapel into a proposed complex of four holiday apartments and two houses.
Hawes and High Abbotside Parish Council will meet at Gayle Institute at 7.15pm on Monday.
Members of the public are welcome to attend.
