Police officers called in to meet Hawes’ mini police this week.
The new mini police scheme allows youngsters to dress up in uniforms and learn about policing issues, staying safe and undertaking some volunteering work.
The Hawes mini police enjoyed a look inside one of North Yorkshire Police’s Rangers vehicles.
Officers also explained how the force uses its Honda CRF 250L off road bike.
Dog handler PC Hunsley also come along with his Police Dog Rhun to talk about the role dogs play within the force.
