A Hawes business selling artisan coffee, tea and health food products that started online has opened a shop.
The Alchemist’s Cottage has launched in the town’s Main Street selling a large range of loose leaf teas and hand roasted coffees.
The company also sell single origin drinking chocolate and dairy and soya free chocolate bars, as well as a range of health foods from super powders to apricot kernels.
The business was started by Catherine Eastham, who has a culinary background, and her business partner Lee Phillips, who works abroad.
The shop was opened last week by pantomime dame Gary Davis and former professional footballer Andy Payton.
Catherine said: “We provide a wide range of exquisite tea and artisan coffee, as well as no more plastic goods to help the environment.
“We also have health foods including bars for cyclists and walkers, or just a healthy treat.
“We have an online store however some items we sell are available in store only.”
