Young Wensleydale football players got the chance to experience being on the pitch on match day at a Championship football.
A group of 26 children from Hawes United Juniors took up the invitation to act as guard of honour at the Middlesbrough v Aston Villa game on Saturday, December 30.
Wearing the teams’ new strips for the first time, they walked the pitch and waved Boro flags to welcome the first teams on for kick off.
“It was a great day out and a fantastic stadium experience for them all,” said parent Nicola Menzies.
