Historic footage from a BBC documentary looking at Richmond Castle and Easby Abbey has been released.
The clip features historian Alec Clifton-Taylor offering some insight into the town’s past/
This was from one episode of a series called Six English Towns.
The epside was first broadcast on August 11, 1978.
The footage has been released to the local media as part of a three-month pilot project making BBC archive film about Yorkshire available to the public.
