Holidays go under hammer at Richmondshire Cricket Club’s auction of promises

A holiday at the Pine Lake Resort is one of the lots.

Holidays, batting lessons and a sack of potatoes are some of the lots which will go under the hammer at Richmondshire Cricket Club’s auction of promises next week.

The event will be held at the club on 7.30pm.

The proceeds to be divided between the Yorkshire Air Ambulance and the cricket club.

The auction includes 56 varied lots.

The lots are:

Lot 1 – A weekend for 4 adults, for 2 nights (8th December – 10th December} in the Lake District at Pine Lake Resort. Bidding started online. Donated by Mark Layfield

Lot 29- An hours’ flight for 1 in a small plane from Fishburn, Bishop Middleham, over the local area. This will be weather dependent and take place at a weekend. Lucky person must be of no more than average build of a man!!  Donated by David Smith

Go racing with Randall Orchard to see one of his three steeplechasers run live.

Trip will include driver, lunch, meet the trainer, jockey and enter the paddock beforehand and hopefully winner’s enclosure afterwards. Date to be agreed.

Lot 56 – Super detached 4 Bedroomed villa, 5 minutes from Mediterranean beach, in Belek, Turkey. Comfortably sleeps 8, with one double en-suited bedroom, and three twin rooms, two further bathrooms.

Private pool with surrounding six feet hedges and close to the towns of Belek and Kadriye.

Transfers can be arranged from Antalya airport, approx 30 minutes, and car hire if required.

The villa is offered for a week between March to May or September to November when the weather is pleasant and not too hot. October temps this year up to 33 degrees.
