It was launched by local residents Victoria Weaver.
She said: ” Today a lovely family, the McNally’s have lost their family home due to fire.
“It’s early days so I don’t know the full extent of the damage but it doesn’t look good.
“This family has had a rough ride recently and could do with a break right now. They are always there to help others and have helped my son plenty. I’d like to do something in return.
“I want to raise funds to help them in this transition period.
“They are going to need clothes so the kids can go to school and, well, everything else that we take for granted.”
