
Organisers of Hunton Steam Gathering sat this year’s event are hoping it will be bigger and better than ever before.
This year’s event on September 9 and 10 will see more than 700 vintage vehicle exhibits make the annual pilgrimage to the show field.
Exhibitors come from far and wide and include a large selection of steam engines, vintage commercial vehicles, cars, tractors, bikes, stationary engines, motoring and agricultural displays.
Attractions will also include fairground rides, craft stalls, local food market, autojumble and many diverse trade stalls.
The Sunday will see a vintage ploughing match and a local produce show.
Organised by a volunteer committee, the event has raised thousands of pounds for local charities over the years from event proceeds.
The gates open at 10am. Admission is £8 for adults and £4 for children ages 5 to 15 years (under 5’s go free).
The event takes place juts outside Hunton, near Leyburn. The postcode is DL8 1QF.
