A total of £10,450 has been donated to charities following the success of the 2019 Hunton Steam Gathering.
A donations evening was held recently at Hunton Village Hall where organisers invited committee members, helpers, land owners and the charities.
Almost 100 guests attended the evening where vice chairman, Tom Jobling, gave a presentation of the history of the event and showed a video and numerous photos of the 2019 gathering.
Long-term local supporter and friend of the event, stunt driver Russ Swift, gave a talk and presented the cheques to the charities alongside founder and chairman David Robinson.
The presentation was followed by a buffet and the village hall committee provided a bar for the evening.
Organisers say plans are underway for the 2020 Steam Gathering on September 12 and 13.
