Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team were called out by the ambulance service to help an injured walker on the Pennine Way on Saturday.
The incident happened between Keld and Muker.
Team medics and ambulance staff treated the walker at the scene before evacuating them to Keld, where they were taken to hospital for further treatment.
The team thanked Rukins Farm for their assistance during the rescue.
