Local musicians John and Jane Hunter and Adam Bradley are presenting a jazz and cocktails night at The Station Cafe Bar in Richmond on Saturday, January 27.
They will be joined by special guest vocalist Natasha Harper from Brighouse.
The Good Vibes Trio have performed several performances at Richmond Station in addition to further appearances in Hurworth and Grinton.
The band was formed from the pit ensemble at the Georgian Theatre when John was acting as musical director for a number of productions, and were first heard as a trio accompanying John and Jane’s Richmond 950 production The Station Master in collaboration with the Charlotte Jaqueline Dancing school.
“It’s lovely to be back at the Station,” John said.
“It’s a great venue, and this time our special guest is a vocalist I’ve worked with for a couple of decades.
“Natasha recently appeared on ITV’s Starstruck singing as Judy Garland, and we are currently developing a stage production featuring all of the star’s popular songs.
“We hope that this show may tour North Yorkshire this year – but there will be a sneak preview of a few of the songs at The Station in original arrangements I have written for Natasha, who is known both nationally and abroad as a professional 1940’s performer.
“More recently she has performed tribute acts as Lulu and Amy Winehouse – but she has an amazing voice for the standards.”
Whilst focussing on the Great American Songbook, trio also include some film themes and popular classics in their repertoire.
