Jewellery stolen during burglary in Newton-le-Willows

Police are appealing for information following a burglary in Newton-le-Willows near Bedale.

It is believed the incident took place sometime during the day between 8am and 3.30pm on Tuesday.

Thieves stole jewellery and perfume during the raid.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: “We would like to reassure the community that we are working to identify the person or people responsible and would appeal to anyone who was in the area and noticed anything suspicious to contact the police.

“Your information will be looked at thoroughly and could really help our enquiries.”
