Richmond Rockets Junior Football Club is celebrating after their chair received an award.
Coach and club founder Pete Bogojevic was awarded the 2022 Spirit of Grassroots Football Award from North Riding FA.
The club is also celebrating its third anniversary this month.
Pete said: “It’s been a great year for Rockets and we are grateful to Trinity Academy Richmond and Richmond Community Sport for their continued support in providing training and match facilities, and to all our sponsors, old and new, who we are so grateful to.
“Our team of coaches is increasing and we are currently re-registering our players for next season.”
The club is currently seeking enthusiastic coaches willing to take on their U12 Apollo team.
It is also looking for a kit sponsor for its new U7 Jupiter team who are welcoming current Year 1 children to join them.
