King’s Club to be held during school holidays

King’s Club children’s holiday sessions will return again this year at two venues in the district.

The club will operate at West Burton Village Hall on Saturday 5th August and at Leyburn Methodist Church on Wednesday 9th August between 12 noon and 3pm.

The club is run jointly by the Methodist Church and the Church of England locally.

As in previous years there will be family games, activities, puzzles, crafts and even puppets at West Burton.

Activities include badge making, seed planting, cup cake decorating, clay modelling, scratch art and much more.

There will also be a giant play parachute and giant Jenga, with refreshments and a ‘make your own sandwich bar’ also available.

There will also be free activity bags available to take home with more things to keep young ones occupied and to treat their adults.

King’s Club has been supported  by Wensley Deanery, North Yorks Dales Methodist Church, Wensleydale Rotary and Cllr Karin Sedgwick’s Locality Budget Fund.

There is no need to book, just come along and join in.

Children will need to be accompanied by adults for these sessions.
