Kiplin Hall hosts Halloween Spooktacular

From left, Kiplin staff Rosie Cluz and Alice Hanby get ready for the Halloween Spooktacular.
Ghosts and ghouls will give visitors to a North Yorkshire hall a haunting experience later this month.

Kiplin Hall’s Halloween Spooktacular will run from October 21 Haloween to 25 and October 28 to November 1.

Visitors to the 17th Century country house can take a walk through the scenic grounds where they will be able to follow a spooky trail.

This story continues after the adverts:

Inside the hall young visitors can hunt for the body parts of a terrifying dragon hidden in the rooms.

When they find them all, they can take them to the Mighty Wizard’s Workshop to complete their very own dragon to take home.

Bronia Gardner, from Kiplin Hall, said the Spooktacular would be fun for all the family.

She said: “It’s a magical time of the year at Kiplin.
“The autumnal colours in the gardens add to the atmosphere of our Halloween fun.

“There are lots of scary – and not-so-scary things happening – and we would be delighted to see new and regular visitors to the hall.”

The grounds will be open from 10am to 5pm during the Spooktacular event.

Kiplin’s tea room will be serving Halloween-themed food all day.

Normal admission prices apply.
