A total of 45 children from across key stage 2 at Le Cateau Community Primary School took part in the cross-country trials at Richmond School.
Two of the school’s year 6 boys, Zaide and Robert, progressed to the cross-country finals at Giggleswick School in November.
Zaide came fifth overall with a time of five minutes and 30 seconds with Robert not far behind finishing sixth with a time of five minute 33 seconds.
