
Legendary American roots musician Guy Davis will perform in Swaledale for the first time on Thursday, November 16, with a gig at Reeth Memorial Hall.
Playing guitars, banjos, didgeridoo and harmonica, Guy uses a blend of roots, blues, folk, rock, rap, spoken word, and world music to comment on, and address, the frustrations of social injustice, touching on historical events, and common life struggles.
With a background deep rooted in theatre, Guy is also an actor, author, songwriter and script writer with multiple nominations and awards for his work across a range of categories.
Doors open at 7.30pm for an 8pm start.
