Former Glastonbury Festival headliners The Levellers return to Richmond on Saturday, March 2 at Richmondshire Cricket Club – with only a few tickets remaining.
Two members of the chart-topping band, Jon Sevink and Dan Donnelly, will play an acoustic set of Levellers songs as well as their own material.
Dan, who lives on Teesside, said the performers could not wait to return to Richmond following two previous gigs at the venue.
“We loved playing there and Jon and I are really looking forward to a fantastic night of live music at a brilliant venue,” said Dan.
“Last time out was memorable and we know how much the crowd love The Levellers songs.”
Chief support will be provided by Richmond-based band Ceiling Demons, fresh from a successful gig at the same venue in December.
Other support is provided by Welsh singer-songwriter Ruby Kelly and Sunderland poet Tobias Hodgson.
Ruby Kelly, whose songs are influenced by The Beatles and The Kinks, has released an EP called ‘King of the World.’
Teenager Tobias Hodgson has published his first collection of poetry called Fantasies which is a love letter to adolescence.
Tickets for the show are priced at £15 and can be obtained from www.wegottickets.com
