Two estate management companies have joined forces.

Hewetson & Johnson and John G. Hills have announced they are now working in association to strengthen the presence of both firms across the North of England.

The companies say the association will give greater geographical gravitas to the businesses, with John G. Hills main Leyburn office providing a complementary bridge to Hewetson & Johnson’s offices in Kirkby Stephen and Coxwold.

They say it will allow a greater capacity to assist new and existing owners and occupiers of rural land and property.

Ed Hewetson, director at Hewetson & Johnson, said: “Working in association with John G. Hills gives an exciting blend of experience to best serve our respective client bases throughout the North of England.

“It creates a strong dynamic team and means our specialisms in land agency, valuations and property management covering Yorkshire, County Durham, Cumbria, Lancashire and Derbyshire will become even more robust.

“We look forward to the relationship growing and continuing to provide clients with a personal and flexible service.”

Rachael Sunter, partner at John G. Hills added: “Our decision to work in association with Hewetson & Johnson adds to the strength of our long and well established business of land and estate management based at our office in Leyburn, and covering as far south as Derbyshire, Cumbria in the west and across the border into Scotland.

“I believe our two businesses will naturally dovetail together and an association will offer deeper expertise and knowledge across all our professional services both locally and nationally.”
