A junior football team has thanked a sponsor for their new kit.
WA Tunstall & Son Builders have provided the new strip for Leyburn United JFC U14s.
The Dales family building business, which has been established for more than 50 years, built the iconic Forbidden Corner in Coverdale.
Four generations of the Tunstall family had played football in the local leagues and they said they were proud to support football in the area.
With lack of 11 aside competitive football in the area, Leyburn’s u14s are spreading there wings in the Russel Foster Durham League this coming season.
Manager Shane Close said the team have gone from strength to strength and finished top of division two in the Harrogate and District League last season.
Most of the players have been together for around eight years, although the team have recruited seven new players this season to make up a strong squad of 17, including several who play area football.
“We would like to thank Bruce Tunstall for kindly sponsoring the lads with a quality new strip which looks very smart and will set them of on a good start in there new adventures,” added Shane.
