Life-saving defibrillator installed at The Station

A life-saving defibrillator has been installed at The Station in Richmond.

The device has been paid for by the building’s owners, Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust.

It can be used by anyone, with the code to unlock the defibrillator available by calling 999.

Chris Brown, general manager at The Station, said: “As part of Richmondshire Building Preservation Trust’s commitment to the community, we’re delighted to have funded and installed a defibrillator at The Station.

“This will be available to anyone in an emergency, 24/7, by dialling 999 and an access code being provided.

“Hopefully it will never need to be used, but our plan is to train all trust staff regardless on its usage, so we can be on hand when needed.”
