Live music at Richmond mayor’s first charity coffee morning

Musicians Edie and James.

The new mayor of Richmond will introduce a musical flavour to his first coffee morning at Richmond Town Hall on Saturday.

Talented young musicians Edie and James will serenade visitors with the sounds of guitar and mandolin as part of the charity fund raiser for local charity Just the Job.

Based on Gallowfields Trading Estate, the charity provides a unique work-based service in Richmond for individuals requiring help and support to achieve their full potential in life. There will also be an opportunity to see and purchase some of the products made at their centre.

This is in addition to the normal cake stalls, raffle and tombola.

The coffee morning runs from 9am to 12pm and admission is £1.50 which includes tea/coffee.

The mayor, Cllr Ian Woods, is hoping for a high turn out to raise funds for his chosen charity.
