Magic Tenner promotion returns to Richmond

Richmond Market Place.

The Magic Tenner promotion will be returning to Richmond from May 11 to 26.

In a campaign organised by Totally Locally, businesses in the town will once again be collaborating to offer £10 deals to encourage people to use independent shops and give a boost to the local economy.

The message behind the initiative is that for every £10 spent in an independent business, up to £50 goes back into the local economy.

This is because most independent businesses work in partnership with many other local businesses, whether that be makers, growers, suppliers, accountants, electricians, window cleaners and so on.

Buying online, or at the big national chains and supermarkets has a much smaller impact, as far less money stays in the local economy.

Businesses signed up for the Magic Tenner so far include: Angus Morton Butchers, Art and Rhyme, Arthur Caygill Cycles, BBinFinkle, Berber Leather, Gone Barking, Goosewing Studios, Granny’s Kitchen, Kiss the Moon, Larches of Richmond, Nourished, Pink Sundays, Richmond Swimming Pool, Sip Coffee, Strolling4Shoes, Team Talk UK, The Nutrition Hut Café and Tunstall Meat Company.

All independent businesses in Richmond and the surrounding areas are invited to join in with the Magic Tenner.
