Man accused of Colburn murder set to face trial next year

Teesside Crown Court.

The man accused of murdering Colburn woman Natalie Harker is due to face trial next year.

Andrew Lee Pearson, 44, appeared at Teesside Crown Court via videolink today.

He is due back at the court on November 18 before a trial scheduled to start on February 17.

The accused, of Chestnut Court, Catterick Garrison, was remanded in custody the hearing.

He is accused of the murder and kidnap of 30-year-old Ms Harker, whose body was found in a wooded area in Brough with St Giles on October 9.

It is alleged that Mr Pearson killed Ms Harker at Foss Way, Catterick Garrison, on that date.
