Police have arrested two people on suspicion of shoplifting.
The male and female from Sunderland were arrested this afternoon in Catterick Garrison.
It follows a recent spate of shop thefts at the Princes Gate Shopping Centre.
Police said they would be interviewed in due course and equiries were ongoing.

what is more concerning is why people from Sunderland are allowed into tier 2.
At the very least, I do hope they’re fined for breaching the restriction on travelling from Tier 3 to Tier 2 …
