A man has been banned from a Richmond pub after an incident in September last year.
George Davies, of Willance Grove, Richmond, pleaded guilty to two offences when he appeared before magistrates in York yesterday.
The appearance followed an incident at the Turf Hotel on September 17 last year.
He was charged with one count of affray and one of using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour likely to be caused harassment, alarm or distress.
Davies pleaded guilty to both charges.
He was given a community order which banned him from the Turf for 18 months.
He was also ordered to carry out 180 hours of unpaid work.
The defendant was also ordered to pay £330 compensation, costs and a victim surcharge.
