A man has appeared in court for assaulting policing officers.
David Stobbart, 41, of Brokes, near Richmond, appeared before magistrates in York on Tuesday.
He was accused of assaulting three police officers in an incident in the Market Place in Richmond on August 19.
He has also been charged with being drunk and disorderly and damaging a police cell at Harrogate Police Station.
The defendant denied all charges.
He was remanded in custody to appear in the same court next month.
